Must have been very few subscriptions if a low-cost money spinner was not profitable. Oops, forgot, it is BBC = public sector so no doubt massively over staffed and all on unjustifiably high remuneration packages with frequent overseas research and training holidays in 5 start resorts.
Users have been notified of the switch-off, and auto-renewing subscriptions are being cancelled.
BBC deserves credit for that honest approach. Something Sky, Talk-Talk/AOL, Vermin Media and others should emulate. _______________________________________________ get_iplayer mailing list get_iplayer@lists.infradead.org http://lists.infradead.org/mailman/listinfo/get_iplayer
