This, of course, had been announced already, but I wonder what implications (if any) would that have to GiP BBC Three downloads; if online becomes the only way to watch, I suspect the CDN servers will be far more busy than now, possibly resulting in reduced download speeds.

From the article it is not apparent to me whether a
"Watch Live" BBC Three stream will still be present or "On-Demand" would become the exclusive avenue for watching Three offerings...

If BBC Three becomes "iPlayer only", then I would expect all its entries within the TV.cache to vanish by then, since those are based on the schedule feeds (currently) - PVR searches won't work, the "--pid" method would have to be used for fetching...
