I'm puzzled......

I'm in the process of converting most of my PCs (except two) to Linux Mint and decided to install GIP2.95 on one of those Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon x64 systems.

I downloaded GIP from the get-iplayer PPA, extracted and installed it.

Did a get_iplayer --refresh only to find it's reporting as being v2.83 and searching for BBC Three feeds:

I've looked at the source code and it's indicating it's v2.95, so I'm well and truly puzzled. Before anyone says something this is a relatively new installation of Linux Mint (early April) and GIP has never been installed on this PC before!

Hmmmm
