to cut a long story short
To get 1280x720 25 fps format
Get_iplayer --subtitles --get 838 --tvmode=hlshd --type=tv --force
To get 1280x720 50 fps format
Get_iplayer --subtitles --get 838 --tvmode=best --type=tv --force
