Thank you. I did not want 'best' though - I needed low res. (for a small file) hence my choice of 'good' in the PVR modes setting.
I wonder if the settings in the PVR have been updated to the new dash modes? Then I tried explictly entering the mode as 'dvflow4' - but this too crashed.
