OK. When you come back can you attempt the download again but with the following command to capture a log as a text file: get_iplayer --get 6647 --verbose > "$HOME/log.txt" 2>&1 The log.txt file will be saved to your $HOME directory. Then attach the log in a reply here (you may have to CC me directly to send the attachment if this list rejects it). It would be interesting to see which ffmpeg get_iplayer is using and it's configuration which should be included in the log.
