I have not used the PVR for years, and I did find a bug in it. No message
gets sent to stdout warning that it is necessary to use --force. When I
entered
get_iplayer --pvr
it just displayed the name of the PVR I had set up and returned to the
command prompt. It did not even carry out a search.
I should have said it did not even display the result of a search.
Obviously it must have carried out a search to find that the result of the
search was in my history, but it seems to me that it needs to inform the
user that that was what it found.
