Hi Dave Unfortunately, I can't assess much of your posted log, as after line

You could increase verbosity and perhaps try get_iplayer --type=tv --pid=p057mnc6 -i -v > GiP_log.txt 2>&1
and then try to see what's happening (?)

But it's just better to upgrade anyway... 1. Back up your XP compatible ffmpeg.exe 2. Upgrade your GiP from 3.00 to 3.02; it's highly possible a bug in 3.00 is the cause of your issue... 3. Once the installer has finished (hopefully without issues), rename/delete the ffmpeg.exe (v3.2.4) put in place by the installer and then restore in that same folder your previous ffmpeg.exe (v3.0 ?). Then try again the fetch with GiP 3.02... Hope this fixes it... Vangelis.
