VLC media player will convert pretty much anything. Download it from here:

To use it as a converter:
1. Open VLC
2. From the menu, select Media -> Convert/Save
3. Click "Add" to add the file you want to convert
4. Click "Convert/Save" at the bottom
5. Select the output format from the "Profile" dropdown. There are quite
a lot of them, and it starts with video (as that's what most people
will, typically, be converting), but you'll find MP3 and FLAC further
down the list)
6. Use the "Browse" button to generate a destination filename (it will
default to the same location as the input, but you'll need to change the
name)
7. Click "Start"
