I wonder how this might affect other apps, currently I use a
firestick in my TV for TV and Radio.

There is no Sounds app for my version of Firestick so I have use a
third party app, I currently use an app called MyTuner for playing BBC
live radio , which presumably rely on a live stream being available
from the BBC.

Will there be a publicly available live stream that apps like MyTuner
can use or will you only be able to use the sounds app to get BBC
radio content, in other words if the BBC don't bother to do an app for
the Firestick (and multiple emails to the sounds app developers for an
update of when or if the sounds app will be available for my firestick
have been ignored) presumably access via lots of less mainstream
devices devices access will be restricted?
