The v3.26 Release notes say,
*"Ubuntu/Mint (and other Ubuntu-based distros) only: Farewell
get_iplayer PPA*
"The get_iplayer PPA
<https://launchpad.net/~jon-hedgerows/+archive/ubuntu/get-iplayer> is no
longer supported by its maintainer, so you can no longer install
get_iplayer from there. Perform a manual installation or use the snap
version (if snap support is available for your system)."
My kubuntu installation seems to have been updated to get_iplayer
3.26-ppa33g, which is how I found out about the new release. Maybe it
means it will not be supported from the next release.
