Many thanks for this, now working with new pids.

Meant to send the below to list... Sorry!

Hi,
I think it's a tidy up of "legacy" pages.
The missing page is R4 LW.
The R4 FM page is still maintained (with PID p00fzl7j)
Same for BBC1...
GiP used the generic BBC1HD England page, but now the regions are available,
there are individual pages, eg: p00fzl6p for London.
You can find them all from the main schedule index page
https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules
(BBC1HD England has now been removed, and R4 is just called FM - which may be
an error)
I have updated my get_iplayer.pl with these PIDs and it appears to be working
ok.
There is a block of definitions that contains all the PIDs for lookup.
(I'm not at my PC now so can't give the line numbers - but search for the old
PIDs from the error message)

I assume that you have heard nothing further from the BBC?
I now have today, in addition to the BBC1 error reported for the last several
weeks, the message:
'ERROR: Failed to download BBC Radio 4 schedule page (3/3):
https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl7k/2024/w31
ERROR: Response: 404 Not Found'
Because of the sheer number of R4 programmes compared to BBC1, this in itself
causes a much bigger problem for GIP users, but there is also the possibility
that it is the beginning of an overall change where we lose access to all
schedule pages.
I do not know who, if anyone, currently maintains GIP. If such a major change
should occur, is there a possibility that measures could be taken to update GIP
accordingly?

On 15/6 I submitted a complaint to the BBC pointing out that pages of
the BBC1 national schedules were devoid of schedules, but have received
only the initial acknowledgement, and have heard nothing back since.
I've now heard back as follows - nothing very helpful as yet, but at
least they seem to acknowledge there's a problem:
