Dear Nick, Yes, of course, the appropriate library do depend on the compiler used to compile liblapack. There is no other specific reasons to link libg2c library with Gmm++.
It seems that the necessary libraries for gcc 4.4 are libgfortranbegin and libgfortran Yves.
