Hi electro

Unfortunately GetPaid is still a relatively 'young' product and as such does
not have the level of documentation that may be required to easily extend or
enhance it for a new developer. However, GetPaid is certainly in use in a
variety of sites around the world that do ship goods, but I don't know which
may be using the flat rate shipping module.

As someone who has invested the time/effort in improving and extending
GetPaid and writing various non-trivial bolt-ons, I will say that if you
have only Plone 2.x development experience then unfortunately the learning
curve is going to be virtually vertical :(
