Hi,
does anyone know, what should be (or should have been) the difference
and interaction between Shipping Methods and Shipping Rate Services?
If I've understood right, the current default checkout wizard (in
Products.PloneGetPaid) uses only selected Shipping Rate Services.
But by looking only their interfaces in getpaid.core, it looks like
Shipping Methods could originally have been something provided by
selected Shipping Rate Services (e.g. when I'd select ups as rate
service on PloneGetPaid's management screent, it would made different
UPS-services available as shipping methods).
Anyway, if anyone knows the ideas behind the original design, I'd be
very interested to listen to.
