Yeah, what he said.  :)  There's also TextWrangler, if
you're on a Mac.  It's a free text editor that saves
files as text-only.  That's the format you'd need for
your plain-text quote file.  You could also use
TextEdit in Mac OS X, as long as you choose "Make
Plain Text" under the Format menu before you save your
quotes.
