So, you want to ClearFocus from the ListBox ?

You wrote that you are able to set the focus to an useless EditField ?

Try Self.SetFocus and the Window will get the Focus / the ListBox loose the 
focus...

Simple, clean, or I didn't understand your question :)

Thanks for the response. It did not seem to do anything for me in my situation. I did find out that the CellBackgroundPaint event fires every time you go to another cell so I put my code in there and it works except for when I want to leave the board. The only way I can figure out to deselect a cell (without selecting another cell) is to put an editfield in the window and set the focus to it. That doesn't seem to fire the CellBackgroundPaint event though, so I am still working on that problem.
