Joseph thanks for the response. And of course it works. But it leads to the next question. How did you determine that the "EditField" was an array? The same thing happened for the window code (BTW I used self.Control()). In the Lang ref I found the window class and that does say something about control being an array. But I don't see anything about the EditField having/being an array. So that I don't have to continue to ask dumb questions could you tell me how I needed to figure that out? What steps you took or maybe something about the editfield told you. Like it works because the Editfield is a subclass of something therefore something just followed.
