Sorting a Listbox

When sorting a ListBox by clicking on a column header, will the  
ListBox not sort if it is bound to one or more controls, like a  
DatabaseQuery?

If so, can it be sorted manually via the ListBox Sort method? I  
haven't found any documentation on this.
