I cannot think of any application I have ever used that is truly an MDI
based app that has any other background other than the Windows
"Application Background" color which is dark gray by default. Also I
have only seen pictures or logos on non MDI applications. If you want to
do these things I would do them to the MDI document window not the MDI
window.
