You copied it to this other Mac how? I suspect this is the problem;
however you transferred it stripped the resource fork. You can
verify this by dropping it on ResEdit; if it says that the document
has no resource fork, then the application is hosed. Try packing the
app with StuffIt before transferring it to the OS9 machine.
