And I should add that it seems to be much more an issue for me than anyone else (seemingly) on the list. Your issue seems to have a decent work around with the user being forced to open and save as since it is a rare occasion - for me this is not an option.
LeadTools offers a Win component (variety of object types) that does the vector/raster pict to EMF/WMF conversion for 2500 US or so but i am not convinced so far that its going to do exactly what I want - 2500 beans goes a long way to making exactly what I want on my own. Please do let me know if you would want to pursue a parser for Win. If Lead is getting 2500/per maybe others out there would find a C++ lib that reads OSX picts useful to the tune of something more reasonable - say 150 Im thinking.
