Drag and Drop of Color

Mac 10.4.5 with REALbasic 2006

I have tried unsuccessfully to drag and drop color from a Canvas  
(ForeColor) to a Rectangle (FillColor).  The Canvas and the Rectangle  
are in the same window.

Is there a way?
