On Windows, Enter on the main keypad has keycode 36, Enter on the
numeric keypad has keycode 76, and if either key is pressed, both are
reported as being down; they can't be tested separately in REALbasic.

which has /me/ scratching my head.

On my WinXP Home box, in VB, both keys reported back as chr$(13). In RB the main enter key gives me chr(13) while the numeric keypad enter key gives me chr(3). I was puzzled for hours the first time I couldn't figure out why my keypad enter key didn't respond to the code I was using for chr(13), yet the main enter key was. It always worked in VB.
