Hi Everyone; Thanks to the 'gurus' who constantly keep this list friendly, courteous, informative, and useful. My usual silence is mostly an appreciation of the good answers to questions that I often never need to ask.
This one I didn't find an answer to in the 4.5 or 5.5 LR. Is there a way to make a scrollbar go only part of the way across the window it is being used on so that there is room to insert an item(s) beside it in the unused area. IOW, I don't need the scroll bar to be 1000 pixels wide on an 1000 pixel wide window. A 600 pixel wide Scroll Bar would be sufficient and allow extra 'stuff' to be poked in there beside it instead of the space loss otherwise created by having to raise <an editfield> up off from the bottom of the particular window.
