Thank you Jack, I was beginning to suspect this. It is a nuisance, and it
doesn't make sense.
I read somewhere in the Help info (though now I can't find it) 'use the
system constant SelectionMultiple', and this is offered by the tab facility
after typing in the name of the ListBox.
Anyway, I shall have to re-design.
Russ, thanks for your point, but actually that was a piece of token code
with a hypothetical ListBox named 'List' .
