Have you tried R3 ? Is there a ticket (case number) on this bug ?
Is it easily replicated ?
I create an app that really tortures the realsql database, but have
never had any issues besides one that refused to use other volumes on
mac os x which has been fixed. No crash bugs.
Or if you are still using the old real database, then my 5 cents are
you should stop using it, create a converter app and start using
realsql, it is just soooooo much better, faster, more stable .....
etc.....

Yeah, I only recently started using RB, so I didn't delve too far
into the issue before R2 came out.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks for your message Fargo. I have 2006R2 but I have reverted
to using R1 because there is a crash bug in using the real
database on Mac in R2. Thus I am forced to not even use R2 much
less R1.
I thought there might be some combination of window options, show
commands, etc that might make it work. It would be strange for
Real to allow a huge bug like that to stand.
