Thanks CV,

The containercontrol class is a powerful beast. Don't want to know what I'd have to go through without it. I read about the embeddedwithinpanel method and succeeded in showing, enabling and embedding a tabpanel with its controls, inside a parent tab panel the moment it is created by the user.

It works great, which I frankly didn't expect.
The app uses two tabpanels, the parent makes new tabs on the fly (either by user action or through a text file saved by previous user action) and each of those new tabs get the containered child tabpanel when created. So typically, some ten instances of that same tabpanel are created by the user and they all keep their settings.

This impresses me. It's my first real programming experience apart from some php hacking and I couldn't have dreamed that it would be this simple. It's a struggle, but the amount of code I finally end up writing for each logical step I want to take is tiny.
Ahem, actually just wanted to tell you: thanks! It works!

Great!
