Use the replace all fuction. Such as:
Dim a,b as String
b = myPlustring
a = replaceall(a,"+"," ") // This will replace all plus signs with
a space you could also reverse them to get spaces to plus signs

What do I do to replace spaces with + signs? in the query edit field?
At the very least could someone tell me what to look up in the list
archives?
if engine.text = "Yahoo" then
Results.loadurl "http://search.yahoo.com/search?p="+query.text
+"&fr=FP-tab-web-t400&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8"
end if
if engine.text = "Excite" then
Results.loadurl "http://msxml.excite.com/info.xcite/search/
web/"+query.text
end if
