Worse yet, it's my understanding that the firing order may vary from
platform to platform, due to differences in the operating systems.
There are some obvious ones (i.e. open before mousedown) but where
there are ambiguities, you are probably best off to use a consistent
design, or at least one where the firing order is not critical.
