I can imagine someone who try RB for 30 days, then reformat the disk (a special disk made only for this) and retry the 30 days (and so on). I can imagine many reasons to keep an RB version, even with having never used it (e.g. I downloaded RB2005 but, having seen that it seems to go away of the mac interface, I decided to stay with RB 5.5; now RB 2005 is on my hard drive but I don't use it at all).

But, just sending a pdf version of the language refs is not illegal, no?

Seems to me that RB has become concerned about folks who rip off old copies of RB, without ever buying any, of any version.

If Arnaud has a currently paid-up support plan, he should be able to get a copy from RB, no? I do believe that Arnaud has been participating on this list for a while now, but I have no way to tell his support status.

If it's not illegal, I can send them to you.
