Yes, if the cell size and the byte order are the same (and for the
assembler to work, also the architecture).

gforth produces backtraces in all cases and catches all stack
underflows, gforth-fast runs faster.

Could you please be more specific?  What version of Windows, what
version of Gforth, and what happens?
