Not only that, the patch has been added to CVS.
And a fix to ds2texi.fs that was causing my other compiler crash.
However, it is still not doing external calls.
Thanks Bernd
Before updating from cvs gforth compiled,
today after updating I get this message:
You don't have a working TeX binary (tex) installed anywhere in
your PATH, and texi2dvi cannot proceed without one. If you want
to use
this script, you'll need to install TeX (if you don't have it) or
change
your PATH or TEX environment variable (if you do). See the --help
output for more details.
For information about obtaining TeX, please see http://
www.tug.org. If
you happen to be using Debian, you can get it with this command:
apt-get install tetex-bin
make: *** [doc/gforth.dvi] Error 1
I am now downloading MacTeX, is this what I need?
It's not the one I used, but it might get you there. I seem to
remember it took a little bit of work to get it setup properly, but
that may be because I chose a different route than that one.
What did you use?
At 744 MB MacTeX may be more than gforth needs.
