This is due to caching results from earlier probes. It can usually be
ignored. However the right way to ensure stuff is correctly in place is
to remove config.cache and  recheck.

Don't bother running mhub as a test. It is similar to the replicator option
of libgpm. default input is configured (as described in its manpage) using
the GII_INPUT environment variable.
