Hmm check /proc/[pid]/maps. I only see a signature of 10MB on x86.
I'm not quite sure, if top adds in mmaped stuff like the framebuffer.
In that case it might be, that XGGI just maps in the whole framebuffer,
while the standard server maps only what it needs.

Hmm - if reducing fbdev resolution helps, this sounds like the above
"problem". In that case, the real usage is pretty low.
In my case (8MB graphics card) it would mean, that I only have 2MB of active
code for the X server loaded. I assume this will increase a bit, when
starting some X apps, as more code gets paged in.
