Hello

Yes I took a snapshot of the screen using 'import' however the screenshot
comes out perfect when viewed through standard X, so is this some sort of
palette mismatch?

I am using linux PowerPC Vers: 2.2.15 pre 17.

Any ideas?

Regards,

David.

I occasionally have a corrupted colormap on consoles when in 8 bit mode.
However I believe it to be a bug in the fbcon kernel code, as it works
fine when using LibGGI apps.

I've never seen it under X, though, but I rarely use X in 8 BPP.

Hope that it shows up in the shot (except if it is taken with an external
camera).
If it is a mismatch between the palette it thinks it has set and the one
it actually has set, it might as well give a correct image when dumping it.
