hey everybody,

berlin has just released a new major version (0.2).
I thought it might be interesting to you given that we
are currently based on GGI as our console layer. Have
a look at http://www.berlin-consortium.org/ to see what
we are currently able to do:

* FreeType2 rendered text
* arbitrary 3D transformations of *all* scene graph nodes
* arbitrary shapes
* alpha channel support
* rendering abstraction (we currently have a GGIMesa based
  DrawingKit as well as one based on Raph Levin's libart
  over GGI). May be XMI is an interesting new target to
  try out as well...

Have fun,       Stefan

PS: berlin will have a booth as well as presenting a talk
    at Stuttgart's LinuxTag at the end of June. I'd be happy
    to meet GGI folks to discuss some further work.
