hi. am writing ggi application.
i need some 3d stuff sometimes.
this means not the whola app shall be a opengl drawing area
but sometimes i need a small rectangle of my screen to be an opengl
drawing area.

therefore i found out that mesa can do offscreen painting into a buffer
which i could then copy into the ggi buffer.
this seems to be the most portable and the most doable solution.

what other things are scheduled in the future?

i mean, the HW could also directly paint onto screen...
