Hello all,
I know I don't give much news :)
I don't know if you've ever heard of Arachne; it's a very lightweight web browser
(ie, that can be fully functional within 1-2 megs of memory); it used to be for DOS,
but I've assisted its author in doing a port to modern, 32-bit, multitasking OS'es,
including Linux.
It works on low-end boxes with svgalib, but I also helped him doing a GGI version,
which is I believe one of the first really serious applications for our beloved
library :)
It's important to note that the browser itself is not opensource.
There's a screenshot here:

(Arachne and Netscape browsing slashdot side to side)
Arachne's website is here:

(Author is from Czech republic, but currently acting as temporary guest in our
offices in France :)
I just thought I would let you know the good news. The browser isn't at par with
netscape as far as functionality goes (ssl, javascript and java are notably
missing at the moment) but it makes for a very cool thin client browser and
whatnot (even more so on our OS than Linux but that's another story ;-)
Voila! Marcus, Andreas, I will let you mention that on our webpage, if you like? :)
