It doesn't. KGI always determines its own mode timings from the setmon utility
or the monitor driver in effect, if it isn't the generic one.

Memory bandwidth on the DRAM is another one. RAMDAC shouldn't limit this 
(except maybe for its _inbound_ bandwidth), as it has the same pixel clock, 
regardless of the data source. For clocks it depends on the exact method
of clock generation and RAMDAC-loading, if it makes a difference.
