Contact Lee Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) about his new libgel. It can work
as a wrapper about any font rendering library (currently only freetype is
supported). I think it will soon be added to the ggi-tree.

You may also want to have a look at libXMI, which is a ggi-aware library
for
2d-graphics. It should be in the source-distribution.
