Couple of hints.
1) I put this somewhere in my profile.
PATH=$PATH:/opt/jade/bin
SGML_CATALOG_FILES=/opt/jade/dsssl/catalog:/usr/share/docbook-3.1/docbook.cat
export PATH SGML_CATALOG_FILES
2) Make sure the ISO entity files are properly referenced in the docbook.cat
file.
For example,
PUBLIC "ISO 8879:1986//ENTITIES Added Latin 2//EN" "ISOlat2"
means you need a file named "ISOlat2" in the same directory as your
docbook.cat file.
3) Also note that if you are using "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V3.1//EN" (the
begining of your docbook.cat file will tell you this) then any docbook files
you process need to start with this as well as opposed to "-//Davenport//DTD
DocBook V3.0//EN".
4) Some people find it useful to pray.
