for me, right now, it is not. but for everybody else it is. if your
lib existed before i started programming for ggi, for example, i
cannot say if i would be using freetype or your lib now.

that's very good. i pity the guy who maintains vflib, for example. its
such a huge gluing of things, the source code is realy a monster out
of control. but a second thought reveals that it has no choice except
being that way. i suggest you take a look at vflib to see how smart
you were :) this decision will make everything easier for you and will
enable you do to a better job.

yep, that's my goal right now :) but one of my life's goals is to
leave good useful sofwtare behind too. of course, graduating takes
precedence!
