ah, don't take that too seriously :)
I don't know why Tobias mentioned that, as we are constantly upgrading to current
GGI snapshots. Berlin doesn't provide binary packages as of yet. One reason is
that lots of third party libraries we depend on aren't available either, or have
evolved without that the available binary packages reflect that. GGI and Freetype2
are examples of those. As it appears, both are going to get new major releases shortly,
so we will be happy to work on a release with binary packages as well. Hurray !
