You mean with --enable-mutexes=pthread or --enable-mutexes=dynpthread ?
Don't do that! ;)
The INSTALL file clearly states:
If you are compiling with gcc you definitely want to leave this
untouched, which will give you the builtin mutexes.
Please fix the packages and I'll make them available.
