I've been running XGGI for several months now, and everything has been going
well. (except for the G400 max's acceleration bugs). Last week, i upgraded
a package on my "stable" (potato?) debian system, and it required me
installing a unstable libc6, and locales package. After doing this, when
i tried to run XGGI i got the message:
libGII: fatal error - could not load ${prefix}/etc/ggi/libgii.conf
So i downgraded my libc6 to the stable version (and proceded to break my
system, so i could not change/install any more packages). After fixing my
system, i saw that XGGI was working fine again. Then the last move i did,
was a apt-get upgrade, which upgrades all the "stable" packages to the latest
versions. After this, i got the message:
libGII: fatal error - could not load ${prefix}/etc/ggi/libgii.conf
again. however i'm not shure which package is breaking this, since ldso,
libc6, and locales are the same as when they were working, and many packages
got upgraded on the last shot.
I should mention that i compiled libggi and libgii myself. but xserver-ggi
is the version that commes with debian.
And, to let you know, the file exists, and is in the same place that
it's always been, but i'm wondering if the ${prefix} is not getting translated
to /usr properly.
What things could cause this/be related to this?
