What if I wrote a server that listens  to gii devices and forwards 
(via a socket)the events to any client wishing to receive them.. 

Is this useful?
Is is not done?
Is it not done because it's useless?

You guys are smarter than I so 

Anyway, I started doing this just to mess around.
