There have been some patches around that do a port to 2.4.0, please
have a look into the mailing list archives of kgi-develop.
However, so far I haven't tackled a 2.4.0 port, as currently I have to give
more priority to a) my thesis, b) my work and c) getting the X server tested
with the XAA integration done.
So, please go ahead with the port...
