what is DST?

[ctest]

when runing startx, i get:

LibGG: unable to open lib: dlopen: DST not allowed in SUID/SGID programs

what's a DST?  startx works fine as root, and XGGI, (with no startup).

i'm shure it's something that startx is calling, but can't figure what.
