it was a rather stupid omission that prevented me from seeing anything: I didn't
flush the master visual after the crossblit.
Anyways, the whole thing isn't fully correct yet, as there is no serialization
at all, i.e. no semaphore or anything to block the client's write attempts while
the server is reading out the data.
And of course, some applications don't care about calling ggiFlush after a repair,
if only because 'repair' isn't always well defined. For example the demo applet
never flushes, so I don't get anything to draw, since I'm waiting for flush to call
me back on the socket that is part of the ipc visual...
Anyway, please test the ipc demo applet and make suggestions about how to resolve
the remaining issues.
Usage:
program/demos/wrap program/demos/flying_ggis (or whatever)
